About four months ago we upgraded our home by putting in some new wood flooring on the main floor of our house, and it looked great, but I knew it would look even better with some antique oriental rugs. I had looked in a lot of antique stores and I had seen some fantastic rugs in some antique stores, but sadly, they were well out of my price range, but I knew that these rugs would look completely amazing in my home.

There were so many to choose from because it was essentially like having several rug galleries at my fingertips, which was really very exciting to me. I figured out that there were two different types of rugs, which were hand-woven rugs and machine-made rugs. This was an important thing to learn, as the hand-woven rugs are generally more expensive, but they look fantastic and they can also be rewoven and repaired in the event that they come unraveled. The machine-made rugs, on the other hand, were cheaper, but if something damaged them, it was impossible to repair them, and they would have to be thrown out or destroyed.
I went over all of the options and pondered all of the different factors, and after a long deliberation, I was able to choose the perfect rugs and the perfect sizes that would look perfect in my home. I made the order, and then at the last second, I determined to add some shag area rugs that I thought would be nice in my basement.
I may have bought more rugs than I actually needed, but when I got them all arranged the way I wanted in my house, I absolutely loved the way they looked. It truly felt that the new flooring and rugs raised the market value of my house a lot, and even though we were not looking to sell anytime soon, it was good to feel that way anyway. I adore the way my house looks now, and I am prepared to do everything I can to take care of my new oriental rugs and keep them looking amazing!
