These are also used in aluminum production and when creating large instrument case housings.

There are many benefits of using this technique to create products. Precisely the part weight is considerably reduced by a very large margin that can be up to 30 percent. In a similar manner the parts that have been molded using this technique have a considerable weight reduction meaning that this process is very suitable whenever the designer is desiring volume and structure but limited because of weight factors. That is why this technique is used to provide alternative walling requirements within the construction industry and especially where the weight of the resultant building is regulated.

Furthermore other desirable features of such molds will include the rust resistance feature. The mold is also impervious to most elements and can be used as an underground network to supply clean water within the building. These features make the products from such mold without any hazard to people.

The highest strength to weight ratio property is the most important when it comes to these molds and similar products. Thus they have been always used within the construction industry and can build strong structure. They can also act as wood because they can be sawn or nailed into various structures.

Structural foam molding as a process is most important in the construction industry. Products that are made from such molding technique can be painted or cleaned very easily. The moldings have also found greater use outside the construction industry as well. The rigidity of the solid parts that can be formed from such molds is an important factor in constructions.
